Responsibilities

The selected candidate will get opportunity to work on a variety of structural engineering projects in India and US, including residential high rises, commercial development, aviation facilities, sports facilities, healthcare buildings, and hotels. 

 
Responsibilities will include working with a team of engineers and modelers to deliver modeling and drafting/detailing work. The work shall be shared by the project managers and engineers for projects based in Unites States and/or India. Our projects range vastly in scale, detail, and complexity, and this position requires being able to work on multiple projects at a time with engineers and modelers from multiple geographic locations. Position responsibilities and requirements will include: 

 

  • Develop and manage 3D structural BIM models in Autodesk Revit as per the required Level of Development (LOD), ensuring complete model ownership.  
  • Create accurate and high-quality 3D models from existing 2D drawings, including hand-marked drawings and scanned PDFs.  
  • Produce detailed construction drawings (plans, sections, and details) aligned with healthcare project requirements, incorporating client markups and redlines effectively.  
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams and project stakeholders to maintain model quality and project timelines.  
  • Utilize in-house plugins and automation tools to improve modeling efficiency and productivity.  
  • Follow and implement firm standards, U.S. healthcare project requirements, and BIM best practices consistently.  

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.  
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience in Structural BIM Drafting and modeling  
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and AutoCAD is mandatory.  
  • Experience in interpreting U.S. healthcare drawings with a clear understanding of plans, sections, and detailing standards is a plus. 
  • Ability to visualize and convert 2D drawings into precise and coordinated 3D models.  
  • Experience of working on concrete building is mandatory 
  • Exposure to Rhinoceros/Grasshopper (parametric modeling and visual programming) will be an added advantage.  
  • Familiarity with US codes and drafting standards is preferred.  
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a client-facing environment.  
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of handling responsibilities independently in a fast-paced project environment. 

 

Work experience on India and US projects would be preferred.
