Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Revit Modeler to join our MEP Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality electrical models and drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines and timely delivery of project documentation. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain 3D Revit MEP models and 2D drawings with the required Level of Detail (LOD) using Autodesk tools. 
  • Prepare high-quality drawings including plans, sections, and detailed views, incorporating markups and revisions. 
  • Utilize in-house plugins and tools to enhance productivity and contribute to the development of BIM libraries for Electrical systems (HV/MV & ELV). 
  • Implement the latest BIM best practices, firm standards, and industry methodologies. 
  • Collaborate closely with MEP engineers to prepare Revit/CAD electrical drawings. 
  • Coordinate effectively with other disciplines including Architecture and Structural teams. 
  • Deliver clash-free GFC drawings (2D/3D) with complete detailing and sections for site execution. 
  • Assist in preparing BIM management protocols, title blocks, drawing sheets, and deliverables in coordination with the BIM team. 
  • Participate in client meetings alongside MEP engineers and resolve drawing-related issues on-site. 
  • Produce and issue electrical infrastructure and building services drawings as per project schedules. 
  • Provide regular progress updates to management. 

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 
    • 5+ years of experience in Electrical drafting and modeling within MEP projects using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. 
    • Strong understanding of electrical systems including HV/MV and ELV. 
    • Familiarity with BIM workflows and protocols. 
    • Ability to work proactively with excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. 
    • Client-service orientation with a collaborative mindset. 
    • Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination and clash detection. 
    • Capability to manage drawing deliverables and documentation efficiently.
