Responsibilities

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineering graduate with extensive experience in MEP design and site coordination. This role requires strong technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead MEP design and execution activities, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct and manage stakeholder meetings, driving alignment and progress across all phases.
  • Ensure compliance with EC norms, MOEF guidelines, local CFO requirements, NBC 2016, IS codes, and relevant international standards.
  • Promote sustainable MEP solutions and contribute to cost estimation and budgeting.
  • Review and approve contractor shop drawings and as-built documentation.
  • Oversee site inspections, material submittal approvals, and system commissioning processes.
  • Guide project teams in mock-ups, sample flats, and final completion activities to ensure quality installations.
  • Provide technical leadership during handover and facility readiness stages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 6 to 8 years of proven experience in MEP design and site coordination within the real estate/construction industry.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience with design consultants and 2-4 years in project execution.
  • Strong knowledge of water distribution networks, WTP, STPs, SWD, RWH systems, building PHE, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with HAP, SprinkCAD, BIM, and similar tools is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of MEP design standards and installation practices.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams (architecture, interiors, projects, liaison, facilities) and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive team player with leadership qualities and a solution-oriented mindset.
