Senior Engineer I - Public Works

Walter P Moore is currently looking for the right individual to join our Public Works Engineering Services Group in the role of Senior Transportation Engineer. This individual will possess a high energy level, be self-motivated, be a superior client server, and be passionate about providing high quality services. 

Additional requirements and position responsibilities include:

• Assist with project management duties
• Participate on a team of engineers and drafters working on roadway projects
• Perform engineering calculations, designs, cost estimates, and specifications
• Assist in developing plans and reports
• Mentor and direct entry-level engineers and drafters

• BS in Civil Engineering (MS is a strong plus)
• 5+ years of experience in engineering design (municipal a plus)
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in previous roles
• Knowledge of Civil 3D is required
• Knowledge in Open Roads Designer, Geopak a strong plus
• Knowledge of Roadway Design Guides (AASHTO)
• Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills
• Knowledge in the development of construction documents, plans, and specifications
